The Future of Disability Policies Was Discussed
During a meeting with Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, three key topics concerning the future of disability policies were discussed. These included: the “Disability 3.0” support model, which focuses on the needs and developmental potential of individuals with disabilities; a sustainable financing system for special education and rehabilitation centers; and legal consistency in economic rights and support for individuals with disabilities. Agreement was reached on fundamental approaches, and the importance of developing implementation models through comprehensive consultations with relevant stakeholders was emphasized. The goal was to create a new policy era that strengthens the participation of individuals with disabilities in social life, encourages their development, and prioritizes legal guarantees and sustainability.

A cooperation protocol was signed between BEYAZAY and Gazi University to strengthen the education, development, social participation, and equal opportunities of individuals with disabilities. The protocol aims to combine the power of the university and civil society to conduct more inclusive and accessible initiatives.

Metader and Türkiye Beyazay collaborate for a barrier-free future.
A cooperation protocol was signed between the Metaverse Application and Development Association (METADER) and the Turkish White Crescent to support the education, access to technology, digital transformation, and participation in social life of individuals with disabilities. The protocol aims to develop accessible and innovative projects in the fields of technology and digital transformation, strengthen equal opportunities for individuals with disabilities, and conduct joint work for a more inclusive future.

BEYAZAY participated in the Yeşilay High School Debate Tournament Türkiye Finals.
BEYAZAY participated in the Yeşilay High School Debate Tournament Turkey Finals, which brought together high school students from different provinces of Turkey. BEYAZAY, which met with the young people at the event that contributed to the free and respectful expression of their thoughts, thanked Yeşilay and those involved and congratulated all participants on their success.

Awareness of Individuals with Disabilities in the Banking Sector Was Discussed.
Within the scope of the “Awareness Seminars for an Inclusive Society” program, conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Family and Social Services and BEYAZAY, an awareness seminar was held for managers and employees working in the banking sector. The seminar addressed accessibility, attitudes towards people with disabilities and effective communication, rights-based approaches, accessibility in banking services, social awareness, and real-life experiences. BEYAZAY President Lokman Ayva contributed to the program with his opening and closing speeches. Representatives from the General Directorate of Services for People with Disabilities and the Elderly, as well as expert speakers, shared their knowledge and experiences with the participants. The program aimed to contribute to the creation of an equal, accessible, and inclusive society for all by strengthening cooperation between the public, private, and civil society sectors.
