The Turkish Beyazay Association extended the Movement to Overcome campaign, launched under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, into the field of education on 3 December, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The Movement to Overcome – Education programme, held with the support of Fatih Municipality, was attended by the President of the General Coordination Board of the Turkish Beyazay Association Nimet Baş, the Mayor of Beşiktaş Murat Hazinedar, the President of the Turkish Beyazay Association Lokman Ayva, members of the General Coordination Board and the Board of the Turkish Beyazay Association, and a large number of people with disabilities and their families.
Yunus Yazar, who has autism and absolute pitch, also gave a piano recital to those attending.
The actor Wilma Elles also took part in the Movement to Overcome – Education programme.
