In the elections held by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipal Council, Mevlüt Uysal was elected mayor.
Mevlüt Uysal, who previously served as Mayor of Başakşehir, delivered many social projects that also included people with disabilities during his time as AK Party district chair in Küçükçekmece, during his term as Mayor of Başakşehir and in his earlier work. Mevlüt Uysal, who will serve until 2019, will continue as Metropolitan Mayor after 2019 if he is nominated and elected.
The Beyazay family expressed their happiness and congratulations on Mr Uysal's election as mayor.
