The Rector of Aksaray University (ASÜ), Prof. Dr. Yusuf Şahin, said they are ready to give all the support they can to every effort to make life easier for people with disabilities.
The Beyazay Student Society, founded within ASÜ to carry out activities for people with disabilities, visited Rector Şahin. Saying that disability is among the sensitive and priority issues and that they too address the subject seriously on campus, Prof. Şahin said every kind of support would be given to the work to be done, and that they wished to see broad activities covering all university students. The Society President Sema SAVRAN also gave information about the projects they wish to organise. Noting in this connection that they have an activity planned for World Down Syndrome Awareness Day, SAVRAN stressed that they aim to develop their partnerships. After the speeches, gifts were presented.
The Aksaray branch president of the Beyazay Association, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kayıhan Erbaş, and board members also took part in the visit.
