The Bursa branch of the Turkish Beyazay Association is organising a ‘BARRIER-FREE SPRING FESTIVAL' as part of the ‘MOVEMENT TO OVERCOME' social responsibility campaign carried out under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye.
As part of the festival, people with and without disabilities will take part in various sporting activities together and dance the horon with thousands of others to the accompaniment of the kemenche. Through the MOVEMENT TO OVERCOME campaign run by the Turkish Beyazay Association under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, people with and without disabilities come together and spend time in various sporting activities. As part of the campaign, the association's branches organise a range of events.
On the subject, a member of the General Coordination Board of the Turkish Beyazay Association, Zafer Hıdıroğlu, said: “The most important shared feeling that unites people is music. And when the exuberance and sincerity of Black Sea music comes into play, that union becomes far stronger. As part of our ‘MOVEMENT TO OVERCOME' campaign held under the auspices of our President, at the BARRIER-FREE SPRING FESTIVAL everyone from seven to seventy, with and without disabilities, will dance the horon to the unifying music of the kemenche and spend a thoroughly enjoyable time.”
The President of the Bursa Beyazay Association, Füsun Koyunlular, said: “At the Spring Festival there will also be various competitions to attract people's interest alongside the sporting activities. The aim is for everyone, with and without disabilities, to come together on a common platform and spend an enjoyable time together.”
