Solidarity between the branches of the Turkish Beyazay Association has borne fruit. A classroom at the Ayten Elyasa Erdoğan School for Students with Intellectual Disabilities was refurbished by the Beyazay Switzerland branch.
The solidarity between the Diyarbakır and Switzerland branches of the Turkish Beyazay Association — which runs various social responsibility projects through its branches at home and abroad to help people with disabilities take their place in society and to support them in employment and education — brought smiles to the faces of the children studying at the Ayten Elyasa Erdoğan School for Students with Intellectual Disabilities in Diyarbakır.
On the subject, the President of the Turkish Beyazay Association, Lokman Ayva, said: “Last year, together with our branches at home and abroad, we prepared the 2023 Disability Vision Study in Diyarbakır. The bond of the heart that was formed continued through various projects. Seeing feelings of brotherhood and solidarity take concrete form between our branches has given us hope.”
The President of the Beyazay Switzerland branch, Suat Şahin, said: “That this bond of the heart should support the education of our students with disabilities in particular has made us happy.”
The President of the Beyazay Diyarbakır branch, Nezihe Kent, said: “Our aim is for our children to socialise and receive a good education. With the support of our head office and our sister branch, a fine classroom has been provided for our students today. We thank most warmly everyone who contributed.”
