A conference on the theme ‘Don't Be Held Back – Don't Hold Others Back’ was held at the Fidan Yazıcıoğlu Cultural Centre by the Faculty of Health Sciences of Cumhuriyet University and the Sivas branch of the Turkish Beyazay Association.
The conference was attended by Deputy Governor Ömer Kalaylı, Provincial Director of National Education Mustafa Altınsoy, the President of the Turkish Beyazay Association Lokman Ayva, the President of the Sivas branch of the Turkish Beyazay Association Tuncay Köse, students and the families of citizens with disabilities.
At the conference a video presentation was given to show those attending how people who are blind live.
