The Turkish Beyazay Association continues to serve people with disabilities and their families through its branches at home and abroad.
At a programme it organised in Rotterdam, the Netherlands branch of the Turkish Beyazay Association gave information about the work of the Turkish Beyazay Association.
The programme was attended by Deputy Consul Ulvi Darendeli of the Rotterdam Consulate General, South Holland Provincial Council member Huri Şahin, YTB Netherlands representative Osman Elmacı, Müsiad Deputy Chair Abdurrahman Akbulut, directors of the Netherlands branch of the Turkish Beyazay Association, representatives of civil society organisations and many guests.
The President of the Netherlands branch of the Turkish Beyazay Association, Mehmet Dağlıoğlu, said: ‘‘The Turkish Beyazay Association is a civil society organisation that supports people with disabilities and their families not only in education but also in social, cultural, economic, legal and professional fields, and that guides people with disabilities in particular in this respect. As the Netherlands branch of the Turkish Beyazay Association we want to work jointly with civil society organisations, migrant organisations and Dutch institutions and bodies in the coming period. We will also put into effect some new projects for our citizens with disabilities.’’
