As part of the ‘‘Brotherhood Projects’’ run jointly by the Turkish Beyazay Association and the Çekmeköy District Directorate of National Education, a delegation of teachers visited schools operating in North Macedonia.
The Çekmeköy District Director of National Education Ahmet Aktaş said: ‘‘We are in a different country, yet we feel as though we have come to one of our own provinces in Türkiye. They welcomed us very warmly. We visited our students and teachers and identified the needs of the schools. God willing, we will meet the shortfalls we have identified before long.’’
The Mayor of Radoviš Šaško Nikolov said: ” We are very grateful to the Turkish Beyazay Association and to our teachers from Çekmeköy. We are developing projects together to raise the quality of education in our schools.’’
