As part of the ‘‘Bridge of Brotherhood from Çekmeköy to Radoviš’’ project of the Turkish Beyazay Association and the Çekmeköy District Directorate of National Education, young children from North Macedonia came to Türkiye.
The Governor of Istanbul, Vasip Şahin, received the young Macedonian pupils in his office. Speaking with the pupils one by one, Governor Şahin presented them with gifts.
After the visit the pupils toured the Bosphorus and then the historic peninsula.
