A cooperation protocol was signed between the Hatay branch of the Turkish Beyazay Association and Mustafa Kemal University as part of the ‘‘Movement to Overcome’’ campaign. Mustafa Kemal University and the Hatay branch of the Turkish Beyazay Association will take part in the Hatay leg of the campaign, which is run under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye and will be carried out nationwide.
For the cooperation protocol, the President of the Hatay branch of the Turkish Beyazay Association Mehmet Tazeoğlu and its members first visited the Rector of Mustafa Kemal University, Hasan Kaya, in his office. Following the visit, cooperation was established between the Turkish Beyazay Association and Mustafa Kemal University. The protocol was signed by Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kaya on behalf of Mustafa Kemal University and by Mehmet Tazeoğlu on behalf of the Hatay branch of the Turkish Beyazay Association.
The ‘‘Movement to Overcome’’ campaign aims to bring people with and without disabilities together through the unifying quality of sport, and at the same time to identify those among citizens with disabilities who are able to take part in sport.
The activities are planned so as to raise awareness throughout society about disability and sport, and to support the active participation of people with and without disabilities in social life through sporting activities.
