As part of the ‘Movement to Overcome’ campaign launched by the Turkish Beyazay Association and held under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, people with and without disabilities came together under the banner of sport in Tavşanlı, Kütahya.
People with and without disabilities first worked out together and then took part in a football and penalty shoot-out tournament. Taking part in sport together as part of the ‘Movement to Overcome’ campaign, they completed the event by cycling and arm wrestling.
The Regional President of the Turkish Beyazay Association, Ali Rıza Soyaslan, said: ” The Movement to Overcome campaign is spreading in waves across the whole of Türkiye. Today we came together in Tavşanlı and enjoyed doing sport together with all our citizens, with and without disabilities. I offer my thanks to everyone who contributed to the campaign.”
