At an event held in the Çerkezköy district of Tekirdağ as part of the “Movement to Overcome” campaign run by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Turkish Beyazay Association under the auspices of the Presidency, the President of the Turkish Beyazay Association Lokman Ayva and the provincial protocol members accompanying him did sport together with people with disabilities.
The President of the Tekirdağ branch of the Turkish Beyazay Association, Adnan Şahin, said that thanks to the campaign people with and without disabilities had the chance to get to know one another better, and that this made them happy.
Noting that the campaign showed the unifying power of sport, brotherhood and difference, Ayva said: “Just as we see the support of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in every field, we see it in the fields of disability and sport too. Through this campaign held under the auspices of the Presidency, we are all seeing together the unifying power of sport, brotherhood and difference. ”
