As part of its ‘‘Better Together’’ project, the Turkish Beyazay Association made a number of visits in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. The first of these was to the TRT Skopje Office, which opened in Skopje last week.
Meeting with the TRT Skopje Office, the President and directors of the Turkish Beyazay Association were briefed on its work by the representative Bekim MUFTAREVIC.
The TRT Skopje representative MUFTAREVIC said: ‘‘As TRT we will work to produce higher quality, more truthful news in North Macedonia. People with disabilities here are already active, but we want to make that activity even faster. In North Macedonia, older people with disabilities are in a far more difficult position than other disability groups. We will follow closely the work being done both in North Macedonia and in the other Balkan countries.’’
The TRT Skopje representative Bekim MUFTAREVIC also thanked the Turkish Beyazay Association for making the first official visit to them.
