The Antalya branch of the Turkish Beyazay Association, together with the Baston Association for the Visually Impaired and the Antalya Association for the Hearing Impaired, and with the support of Kepez Municipality and the Antalya Mufti's Office, achieved a first in Türkiye.
At the event entitled ‘Let's Overcome All Barriers, Let's Meet at the Blessed Birth', for the first time in Türkiye a programme was presented from start to finish by people with disabilities.
Explaining that they had achieved a first in Türkiye because everyone working both on stage and behind the scenes had a disability, the President of the Antalya branch of the Turkish Beyazay Association, Ayşe Güliz Yılman, said: “We cannot thank the Mayor of Kepez, Mr Tütüncü, and our Mufti, Mr Artan, enough for all the support they gave us at this event.”
