The ‘Better Together’ project, run by the Turkish Beyazay Association and supported by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities, took place in North Macedonia on 19–22 November 2015.
The programme was attended by around 130 officials and civil society representatives from Türkiye and some 80 officials and civil society representatives from North Macedonia. The work was carried out in the cities of Skopje, Tetovo, Gostivar and Radoviš.
Beginning on the first day with official visits and a tour to get to know Skopje, the programme continued on the second day with delegation visits to around 20 different civil society organisations, followed on the third day by a cooperation conference bringing together all parties and officials along with a cultural dinner, and concluded on the fourth day with an evaluation meeting of the Turkish delegation.
