Under a protocol agreement signed with the Eukoba Association, a specialist in the field, the partnership of the Turkish Beyazay Association and Bağcılar Municipality was recognised as the only body in Türkiye authorised to issue accessibility quality certificates to European standards.
Eurecert, which aims to make buildings accessible to everyone — from people with disabilities to older people, from parents pushing prams to anyone carrying a suitcase — has set out its operating principles in line with European criteria as the only independent quality control body in Europe. The organisation has representative offices in Germany above all, as well as in Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom and Türkiye.
