Beyazay conducted international training activities in Romania focused on neurodiversity and inclusive education as part of the EU-supported Network Jam Program. Within the scope of the project, the organization engaged with educators from various educational levels to deliver training aimed at recognizing and supporting neurodivergent students and strengthening their equal participation in education.
Based on the inclusive education principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the training sessions covered topics such as diverse learning needs, communication styles, sensory requirements, emotional regulation, strengths-based approaches, and inclusive classroom practices. While sharing international experiences and methods directly applicable in the classroom, the sessions emphasized that neurodiversity is not a deficit but rather a facet of human diversity that educational environments must acknowledge and accommodate.
Carried out in collaboration with Asociația SUPER TINERI (ASIRYS) in Romania, this initiative brought Beyazay’s expertise and experience in the field of disability to an international educational setting, thereby contributing to inclusive education, awareness-raising, and the sharing of best practices at the European level.
