No. Anyone who meets the conditions may apply to this competition.
Which age groups can apply?
Anyone aged between 15 and 30 (15 and 30 included), that is, those born between 1993 and 2008.
Can only students take part?
No. Anyone aged 15–30 may take part, whether employed or not, in a profession, self-employed and so on.
Is there a fee to enter?

Where do I apply?
You can apply online by filling in the registration form Here. Before applying, please read the competition rules also given on this page.
How do I confirm my age?
After filling in the application form, you need to scan your identity document and send it by email together with the other documents.
Which documents do I send after applying online?
After filling in the application form you need to sign your identity document, the competition rules and the undertaking, and send them to zeytincicegikisafilm@beyazay.org.tr.
How will I know my application has arrived?
Within 24 hours of applying, confirmation will be sent to the telephone number and email address you provided.
Where do I send my film for the competition?
Films entered in the competition should be uploaded via Google Drive, or to YouTube as an unlisted video, and the link given on the application form. Please NOTE: if this link is not correct, the person you send the film to will not be able to open the file!
How do I use Google Drive?
If you have never used it before, search YouTube for uploading and sharing files on Google Drive and you will find videos on the subject.
What is the deadline for entering?
The closing date for applications is 25 November 2023 at 23:59. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
How many films may I submit?
You may submit as many films as you wish. However, a separate application must be made for each film.
What is the maximum length of the film I submit?
Your film must be no longer than 15 minutes. All films shorter than this will be accepted.
Do I need to sign the undertaking?
Yes. If it is not signed, your work will be excluded from consideration.
How will I find out whether my film has reached the final?
After the preliminary rounds, the jury will select 5 finalists. These five finalists will be contacted using the email address and telephone number they provided.
My film is among the finalists — what should I do?
If you have been notified, celebrate — it means your work is among the top 5. The makers of the top 5 films will be invited to Istanbul, where the event will be held. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered by Beyazay.
Where will the final event be held?
The final event of the competition will be held in Istanbul.
What are the prizes?
First prize in the competition is 20,000 TL
Second prize is 15,000 TL
Third prize is 10,000 TL
